Our location
Jongunjoen Matkailu sits just outside a tranquil village in North Karelia, Eastern Finland, 30 km from the city of Lieksa. You can reach us by car or by train to the nearby Lieksa station. As well, for those arriving by air, you can fly to Joensuu or Kuopio airports, and we will be happy to arrange a transfer to our property.
Whether you’re hiking, cycling, or paddling, it’s easy to find us along the beautiful Karhunpolku, Jongunjoki, and EuroVelo 13 routes.
Moreover, it doesn´t happen often, but it is possible to land directly on our lake with a floatplane or touch down in our yard with a helicopter.
